  Effective February 2010, we have discontinued the job board and its related career seeker database. We are in the process of merging the data from SmartHire.ca^®

  to our sister-site Grasslands Recruitment Specialists. This amalgamation will allow you to have access to the same current and future opportunities without registering on both sites.

  SmartHire.ca^® offers a full range of selection, assessment, risk management, coaching, and succession planning products and services. SmartHire.ca® enhances your success by providing access to geographically qualified candidates and then providing you with backgrounding and reference checking services. After candidates have been short-listed, SmartHire.ca® will provide and administer psychometric or aptitude employee testing and assessment tools. SmartHire.ca^® also supports you with a team of prairie based Human Resource professionals.

My Account

• Why does it take forty-eight hours to activate my account?

  SmartHire.ca^® takes pride in offering service to clients that we can add value to their organization. If you register with SmartHire.ca^®, we determine if your organization will actually benefit from our special services. Some identifying factors are prairie province based organizations and organizations that work in the sectors that we represent. If we feel that we can help you, we will create your account and provide you with login information. If we are unable to add value to your organization, we will respond identifying alternative avenues that you might look to for help.

• What happens if I forget my password or username?

  You can recover your lost password by clicking on the Forgot password link under the Login heading on the left-hand side. A window will pop up and prompt you for your e-mail address. You must enter the same e-mail address as you used in your profile. You will receive an e-mail with your login information shortly after.

• How do I register my company with the SmartHire.ca^® website?

  • Click on the Register with SmartHire.ca^® link in the middle of the page or under the Login heading.
    
  • Fill out all relevant information in the registration form. All information that is required is marked with an asterisk (*). Click the Next button at the bottom of the form once you have filled out each page.
    
  • The final page of the registration form will have a Submit button. Click this to send in your registration information. You will receive a confirmation e-mail to show that your application has been received.
    
  • Your account will be verified and activated within two business days. Once your account has been activated, you will receive an e-mail with your login name and password. You can now use these to log in to the SmartHire.ca^® Employer Site!
    
  • If you experience any trouble in registering, please contact support@smarthire.ca

• Why is inserting my email address so important to SmartHire.ca^®?

  The SmartHire.ca^® website uses email as the main form of communication with you as an employer. You will receive notifications via email whenever you post a job, when career-seekers apply to your positions, and when your postings are about to expire.
