In order to achieve this objective, we collect, store
and use personal information collected through SmartHire.ca® via our Web
site, email, facsimile, or telephone in order to assist you with your
employee search. Please read the following Privacy Policy to make an informed
decision to either grant or deny your consent to our collection, storage

1. What information is collected from me?
As an employer, you may complete online forms such as product information
requests, Career Description Surveys, and general enquiries. These requests
are confidentially processed by a SmartHire.ca® Representative who will
call you to confirm your request and answer any questions you may have.
2. Will anyone else have access to this information?
SmartHire.ca® is owned by Clark Thomson Management Ltd. Clark Thomson Management Ltd. also owns an Executive Search firm. Staff of this Executive Search firm
will also have access to your information and will treat it with the same confidentiality as per this policy.
3. Does SmartHire.ca® collect any non-corporate/business
information from me?
Yes, SmartHire.ca® collects geographic information (such as your province
of residence) for the purpose of promotion on our website. We display
aggregate data such as the provincial breakdown of listed employers
registered with our company. This information is non-personal and is
intended to give potential Career Seekers a general idea of the geographic
location of employers registered with SmartHire.ca® .
4. How long does SmartHire.ca® store my corporate/business
data?
The length of time that SmartHire.ca stores your employer data is dependent
upon your level of activity with our company. Our database is refreshed
every three months and those who have not returned documents sent to
them or those who have had no contact with SmartHire.ca® since submitting
their employer registration may be removed from our records. Those employers
that have returned all documents sent to them will remain in our system
unless they specifically request to be removed. SmartHire.ca® reserves the
right to remove employer profiles from our database at any time, for
any reason, without notice.
5. How can I access, update, or delete my information?
Your employer account in our online database can be viewed or updated
any time through the SmartHire.ca® website at www.smarthire.ca. If you experience
any difficulty in accessing or updating this information, or you wish
to have your account, and all associated information deleted, please
contact SmartHire.ca support at support@smarthire.ca
or 1-888-773-7884. You can access other data stored by SmartHire.ca® by
calling 1-888-773-7884 and asking a SmartHire.ca® representative (one of
our staff) to forward this information to you via e-mail, facsimile,
or regular mail. To update or delete this information, please contact
us by phone at 1-888-773-7884, by fax at 1-877-778-6403, or by e-mail
at support@smarthire.ca.
6. Privacy Policy changes.
This Policy may be changed at SmartHire.ca®'s discretion without any prior
notice or liability to you or any other person. New versions of this
Policy will be posted on the Web Site, or will be available by contacting
us. Your continued use of the Web Site subsequent to any changes to
this Policy will signify that you consent to the collection, use and
disclosure of your personal information in accordance with the changed
Policy. Accordingly, when you use the Web Site you should check the
date of this Policy and review any changes since the last version.
