Blair Clark, CPC:
President

Blair Clark is the president and founder of the Grasslands Group of Companies. He is a management and business development specialist with over 30 years experience within the staffing, manufacturing, testing, training, retail and agribusiness sectors. He has achieved success as an entrepreneur and business owner and continues to have a keen ability to identify and pursue business trends. Blair has a first-hand knowledge of western Canada and its labour market and is highly involved in the day-to-day activities of SmartHire.ca®.

Blair is the President of the Saskatchewan Chapter of Association of Canadian Search, Employment & Staffing Services (A.C.S.E.S.S.) and his Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) designation recognizes the highest level of staffing industry knowledge and experience in North America.

Blair assists SmartHire.ca® clients to determine a candidate's Corporate, Community, and Job Fit.

Carolynn Chow, BA:
RPO Coordinator

Carolynn holds a BA from the University of Saskatchewan. Her introduction to the staffing and selection field began in Alberta's Oil and Gas sector and quickly progressed to strategic sourcing, candidate research, and market analysis for Prairie Employers.  Carolynn's 5 years of combined experience in Human Resource Management, market research, sourcing and recruiter assistance have lead to her transition as SmartHire's new RPO Coordinator.  Carolynn is a member of the Saskatchewan Association of Human Resources Professional (SAHRP) and is working on her CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant) Certification through the Association of Canadian Search, Employment, and Staffing Services (ACSESS).

Her role will focus on attending to the unique needs of Western Canadian employers by identifying key solutions to increasing recruitment efficiencies.  Carolynn's experience with resume recognition, career patterns, and career seeker evaluation, as well as advertising and media sourcing, will assist in bringing more qualified career seekers to your team.

Dona Plewis, CPC:
Administration Manager

Dona is an administrative specialist with almost 20 years experience within the pipeline, agribusiness, and staffing sectors. Dona has a Business Management Certificate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). She has completed her Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) training and has recently been awarded her Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) designation through the Association of Canadian Search, Employment, and Staffing Services (ACSESS). Gaining experience as a Search Specialist/Researcher, she has recently transitioned into a business development/account management role.

Throughout her tenure, Dona has been hands-on in most aspects of the SmartHire.ca® business and has become knowledgeable of the challenges facing western Canadian employers. This understanding is applied when assisting clients in developing customized solutions to their specific recruitment challenge(s) - based on the position, location, and budget. These options include recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) services, psychometric testing, and/or permanent placement.
